Osbaldwick Sports Teams

Osbaldwick has had a brilliant year with sport so far. Over 90 children from KS2 have represented our school in various sporting competitions so far, with more planned for the Summer term. Particular highlights this year have included:

• Our KS2 girls’ football team placed 3rd in the East York finals after topping their league and are still going strong in the knockout cup. 
• Our Lower KS2 football teams came first and second in their league after some great matches. 
• Our KS2 dodgeball team reached the city finals. 
• Our KS2 netball team came 2nd place in our tournament having lost to the champions by a single point.
• An incredible performance put on by members of the KS2 dance club for the citywide dance festival. 

With many specialists coming in throughout the year, children are getting a fantastic chance to play a range of sports from archery to lacrosse and everything in between! Children are constantly buzzing about competitions and we’ve lots more where they come from. Watch this space (and our Twitter) for more updates from our sporting teams!
