Situated close to The University of York we have many families who come from abroad to study and enrol at OPA. We aim to ensure we give all pupils the best possible start to school, a broad and balanced curriculum and an experience to never forget! We asked a family from Saudi Arabia who left at the start of The 2022/23 academic year to reflect on their time with us. Hopefully if you are an international student about to start this reassures and fills you with confidence that your child/ children are in safe hands.
At the first day we visited the school we have experienced a very warm welcome by
the headteacher. We were helped even to fill the school’s forms.
During the year, class teachers focus on the children area of interest. So, they can
provide the right work which suites everyone.
The organisation during the pandemic was very professional. Laptops were provided
for each child whenever “working from home” is applied. The drop off and pick up
system was amazing with a 15 minutes flexible window time to avoid parents
queues.
Children always happy at school learning in a best environment.
I would recommend this school to anyone moving to York as my kids clearly benefit
from the school

في أول يوم زرنا المدرسة تم استقبالنا بحفاوة من قبل مديرة المدرسة لزيارة المرفقات ومساعدتنا اجتياز الصعوبات حتى
انه تم مساعدتنا في تعبئة نماذج المدرسة.
خلال السنة الدراسية يعمل المعلمون جاهدون لتعليم الأطفال كل حسب رغباته. فهم يوفرون العمل المناسب لكل طفل.
خلال فترة الجائحة كان التنظيم احترافي جدا حيث تم توفير لابتوب لكل طالب عندما كان العمل من المنزل متطلب
الزامي. لم يتأخر الطلاب عن الدراسة بل بذل المعلمون جهدا مضاعفا خلال تلك الفترة للمحافظة على تعليم الأطفال.
كان نظام توصيل الأطفال واخذهم من المدرسة مع وجود فترة خمسة عشر دقيقة مرنة لتجنب الازدحام.
الأطفال سعداء دائما وذلك لتوفر بيئة مناسبة لهم حيث أن أبنائي استفادوا كثيرا من هذه المدرسة.
أوصي بالحاق ابنائكم بهذه المدرسة عند اختياركم السكن في مدينة يورك.
