SEND multi Sports June 2018

OnThursday 7th June, we took 14 children aged from 5 to 11 to an Inclusive Multi-Sports Festival at Dunnington. It was a fabulous day where children did a carousel of sporting activities. They did competitive multi-skills in teams, rugby, tennis, went on a bouncy castle and either did martial arts (like boxing) or some children used the climbing wall.

Here is what our children said:

“My favourite part was running and I loved boxing. I did a double punch and smashed it!”

“I enjoyed the karate and I would like to do tennis at school”

“I liked playing things and bouncing. It was fun!”

“I did boxing and I loved it. I have muscles now. They’ve got bigger!”

“I liked the bouncy castle because I’ve never been on one before.”

“I liked tennis and the bouncy castle”

“I liked tennis – it was fun and new to me!”

“It was amazing. I love it. It was the best thing that I have ever done. I liked all of the activities!”

“I liked the boxing at the end.”

We were all so proud of our children for looking after each other and representing our school so brilliantly!
