Reception & Nursery Information letter 11.9.20

Dear Parents/Carers

Thank you for your support at the beginning of this unusual term.  Your children have been super and we are looking forward to a happy and successful year.

Please remember drop off times are 8.45-9.15am and pick up is 3.00-3.30pm.  For Nursery children who do half days the morning session ends at 11.50am and the after session starts at 12.30pm.  Due to Covid the office staff are not based on the Leyes site and teaching staff will only be available to open the gates at these times.  The office can be contacted at admin.osb@ebor.academy or on 01904 555606.

If you do happen to be late, please call the office where arrangements will be made to meet you.

To make it easy for your child, please can children in Reception keep their snack and water bottle in their snack bag and not in their book bag.  Children in Nursery do not need a snack bag or water bottle, unless they are staying for lunch.

All children need a change of clothing, including pants and socks.  Please can they be put in a named zip lock bag that we can store hygienically.  Please can all items be labelled.

PE kits can be kept in school.  We will keep them in a quarantined box until the PE day.  PE day is Thursday.  Children in Nursery do not need a PE kit.

Please try to avoid backpacks.  Children only need their snack bag and book bag on a daily basis.

With the current situation, please could you avoid bringing toys from home into the setting.

Parentpay, our online payment system, activation letters will be sent home on Monday 14th September.
