Dear Parents/Carers

Welcome to our Autumn Newsletter.  We are delighted at how all our children have settled in to the new School year.  Thank you as ever for you ongoing support.  Its been lovely meeting our new parents on the Leyes site.  Staff endeavour to be visible on the playground on both sites at drop off and pickup to support your child and address any issues that may arise.

KS1 Evil Pea Hunt

KS1 are enjoying their superhero topic.  They loved the Evil Pea hunt in geography where they used aerial photos

School Council

Meet our Children who have been selected as school council representatives. There are two representatives from each class, starting from year 1-6

Mapel our Therapy Dog

The Reception & Nursery children met Mapel last week, we think Mapel loved the treats.

Parents Evening at the Lane

Reminder that this is next week Tuesday 10th & Wednesday 11th October.  We look forward to seeing you in school.

Year 6 Residential

All our Year 6’s had a wonderful time at Carlton Lodge, Thirsk.  Thank you to our Year 6 teaching staff for going above and beyond and giving our children a wonderful experience whilst keeping them safe.  Apologies for all the dirty washing.
