Newsletter – October 2019

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are now into the full swing of Autumn term and we are delighted at how the children are settling into their routines of school. You will see in ‘our key dates’ within this newsletter that there are several opportunities for parents to come into school. Firstly parents evening, where I will be around to say hello whilst you are waiting to see your child’s teacher. Harvest festival is a special celebration assembly and we would delighted for you to join us. This year we are inviting Nursery children’s parents for their own assembly with two other assemblies for Reception and Y1-6. The school is looking vibrant with pupil’s paintings and drawings on show from our recent art week. Communication with parents is crucial and we are putting more efforts to get our website and twitter feed right. In the meantime we are delighted that so many of you have signed up to seesaw. Speak to your child’s teacher to get the class code if you wish to ‘like’ and view what is happening in the classroom.

Thank you for your support.

Thank you to all the children and parents who have brought Aldi Team GB stickers into school so far.  We are still collecting the Aldi Team GB stickers, we have almost reached the half way point.  Please remember that every time you spend £30 in Store you should receive a Team GB sticker.  Please continue to bring your stickers into school and we will add them to our fantastic poster.
