Long Service Award

We applaud long service of faithful staff

Four hundred years of service to education was celebrated at a long service award ceremony organised for Ebor school employees.

Twenty members of staff from across York, Selby, the East Riding and The Humber and the Yorkshire Coast, who each have 20 years of service in schools, attended an awards ceremony at The Grange hotel in York.

Tricia Ellison, chair of the Ebor Academy Trust board, presented certificates and shopping vouchers from the trust in recognition of the contribution they have made to children’s education.

Richard Ludlow, outgoing chief executive of Ebor, said: “Thank you for all that you have done over the years. It’s people who make an organisation successful and what a great opportunity to thank those who make what we are so special. On behalf of all of us in the trust, staff, governors, trustees and of course parents and children, thank you.”
