Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been a long and busy term, but one filled with with the kind of ‘lightbulb moments’ and collective achievements that remind us all why we find our school a wonderful place to be. I am writing to you today to celebrate our children’s achievements, share some important updates, and wish you all a well-deserved break.
December Highlights
The past few weeks have been particularly magical. I want to say a huge congratulations to all the children for their hard work.
-
Nativities and Performances: To the parents of our Early Years and Key Stage 1 children—thank you for the incredible costumes! The children performed with such confidence and enthusiasm.
-
Key Stage 2 Celebrations: Our pupils in Y3, 4, 5 and 6 performed superbly during their carol concerts. Their singing and readings really showcased their talent.
-
Parent/Carer Support: Thank your support and generosity regarding donations to our library. Our reading lead Miss Gulc is thrilled with the recent developments which have given children a more inviting and cosier area to read.
Reception and Nursery pupils perform their nativity.
Year 1 and 2 pupils performed Honky Tonky Donkey
Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 starred in our Carol Concert
Even Santa made a surprise visit to our Carol Concert!
Attendance Update and Winners!
Excellent school attendance is crucial to ensuring your child’s success, well-being, and academic progress. Starting in January, you will receive a weekly email outlining your child’s attendance rate for that week.
This new system is designed to:
- Celebrate Success: We look forward to acknowledging and celebrating students who achieve 100% attendance each week.
- Encourage Consistency: Provide timely feedback that allows us to work together in maintaining strong attendance habits.
We understand that genuine challenges can sometimes impact a child’s ability to attend school consistently. If you are facing any barriers to ensuring your child attends school every day, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We are here to help and support you. Our team is ready to listen and explore every possible resource and strategy to remove these barriers and ensure your child receives the full benefit of their education.
Thank you for your continued partnership.
