Y6 construction part 2

Year 6 finished their mini-module on construction with a visit to Portakabin, Monks Cross, where they were given a guided tour. They finished with a presentation to some judges. They applied their maths and literacy skills to present two classroom designs. The judges were very impressed at the overall standard. Well done Year 6.

Year 6 presented to Miss Barringer and our business manager, Mrs Pearce. They were interviewed about how they intend to spend £50 from the school budget on circus equipment. A financial plan and letter was given to our Headteacher in advance. Needless to say all the Year 6s performed brilliantly, although a little nervous beforehand....
